About ME
I am an actor, voice over artist, comedian, and writer. Originally from Quincy, Illinois along the Mississippi River, I have lived in New York City for six years, having moved here after earning my Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University. While I have performed at various venues across town, my main base of operations over the past five years has been Gotham City Improv, where I have been honing my comedic improv skills.

My most recent writing effort was a one-act entitled "Fresh," which was showcased in the Midnights Play Festival. I have been studying "the method" for a year-and-a-half at T. Schreiber Studio - my most recent effort being Bob in Yankee Rep's Pledge Break. As for comedy, I prefer "long-form" improvisation with an emphasis on strong character development. Some of my favorite creations are James Rischard, a highly opinionated, loveable-loser type; Vincent Rose, a high-strung musical theater director/visionary; and Grimlock the Unholy, an over-the-top evil (yet amusingly harmless) minion of the dark forces.

Lastly (but certainly not leastly), I am very proud to announce that I was married to Jane O'Leary on September 6, 2003. Among all of my accomplishments since arriving in New York, I am most proud of finding her and somehow convincing her to spend the rest of her life with me.
